Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Virtual Hosting Services collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

Account and order details you provide, such as your name, company, email address, phone number, domain name, current registrar, and any setup or technical notes you submit.
Service records related to your hosting, VPS, domain, and support activity, including the plan and add-ons selected and correspondence with support.
Technical data generated by normal operation, such as server and access logs, IP addresses, and security events used to operate and protect the service.

To provision, manage, and support your hosting, VPS, domain, and website services.
To process payments and renewals, send service and billing notices, and respond to support requests.
To monitor, secure, and troubleshoot the service, including detecting and blocking abuse or attack traffic.
To meet legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Card and bank details are entered directly with Stripe and are not stored on Virtual Hosting Services servers.
Virtual Hosting Services receives limited transaction information from Stripe, such as confirmation of payment, customer and subscription identifiers, and order metadata, to fulfill and manage your order.
Stripe processes payment data under its own privacy policy.

Virtual Hosting Services does not sell your personal information.
Information is shared only with service providers needed to deliver the service, such as the payment processor, domain registrars, and email or infrastructure providers, and only as necessary for those functions.
Information may be disclosed when required by law, to enforce these policies, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Virtual Hosting Services, its customers, or others.
If the business is transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale, customer records may transfer as part of that transaction.

Account and order records are kept for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward.
Some records, such as billing and transaction history, are retained longer to meet business, tax, and legal requirements.
Customers should keep their own independent backups of any critical data, as described in the Terms of Service.

Virtual Hosting Services uses commercially reasonable safeguards, including security monitoring, to protect customer information.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Customers are responsible for keeping their own logins, credentials, and content reasonably secure.

The site uses only cookies and similar technologies needed for basic functionality and security.
Virtual Hosting Services does not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing sysadmin@virsite.net, subject to records that must be retained for legal or business reasons.
You can opt out of non-essential email at any time; essential service and billing notices are required while your account is active.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws, which we will honor where they apply.

The service is intended for businesses and adults and is not directed to children under 13. Virtual Hosting Services does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Virtual Hosting Services may update this policy to reflect changes in services, technology, or legal requirements.
Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
