Control panels are "back end" administrative tools used to
manage many of the features and operations of a server including accounts, services,
upgrades and software. Connected to your server, they're a great way to gain more control
of your account and your site(s). Virtual Hosting Services offers cPanel/WHM and Plesk
Panel and we're happy to suggest which one is best for your situation. Just ask us.
Some expert users may choose to not use a control panel and opt for the
flexibility that operating on the command-line provides, but most users will enjoy the
convenience our control panels provide.
You'll notice the extensive features we've listed below differ between
products. cPanel and Plesk market their tools differently, but these lists are the
quickest and most accurate way to present a "snapshot view" to help you
determine which is right for you.
The best way to choose a control panel is to visit the developer's
website and try each one out. We strongly recommend visiting cPanel and Plesk to view
their demos and learn more about each one, then make the best decision for your situation.
